Braemar runner records fastest time in Beetham Tower Run

Alex Cooke of Braemar Estates recorded the fastest time for the inaugural Beetham Tower Run which was held by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust on Sunday 25 September.
A total of 125 runners took part in the charity event with 4 runners recording times under 6 minutes to run up 46 floors of the Tower. Alex Cooke’s winning time was 5 minutes and 19 seconds followed closely by Richard Robinson on 5 minutes 23 seconds.
Neil Roberts, Managing Director of Braemar Estates said: “As building managers at Beetham Tower we were very pleased to be able to host the event and thank the Beetham Tower Residents Association for their support. We are also delighted that Alex set the fastest time on the day which sets the benchmark and we hope to host future events at our other buildings.”
Alex Cooke commented: “I was delighted to be able to play my part and thanks to all sponsors who helped me raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Kidneys for Life charities.”
