Braemar Estates wins two ARMA ACE Awards


Braemar Estates scooped two awards at ARMA’s (Association of Residential Managing Agents) inaugural ACE Awards on Friday 7th July 2017.

Following a rigorous judging process by a panel of independent judges, Tom Dugdale, Property Manager, won the ‘Unsung Hero’ Award and Jamie Whalley, Building Manager, won ‘On-site Member of the Year’.

Fire Safety

Following the events at Grenfell Tower in the early hours of Wednesday 14th June 2017, Braemar Estates (BE) made urgent contact with our retained health & safety advisors as we were keen to provide comfort and reassurance to all our residents in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy.

We re-issued our general fire safety advice, we re-iterated the “stay-put” policy as advocated by the Fire Action Plans in many of the buildings under our management and we initiated a plan to examine and test any suspect cladding at high-rise buildings under BE management.

Bank Holiday Closure

Braemar Estates offices are closed on Bank Holiday Monday, 29th May.  The office will reopen on Tuesday as normal.

Telephone system temporary downtime

Due to an update in our telephone systems, BT has notified us that the Braemar Estates telephone system will be temporarily out of service.  This is expected for 30 minutes during 13 April.  If you are unable to contact us, please bear with us. 

When we have notification of the downtime and when the telephones are up and running we will let you know.

Braemar Estates Staff and Residents Raise £19,355 for Aegis Trust

Through on-site charity clothing banks and your generous donations throughout last year, you have provided White Rose shops with hundreds of fashion pieces. The clothes donated through the clothing banks went on to be sold to raise money for The Aegis Trust’s work to prevent genocide - every 10kg of donated clothing was worth
approximately £50.
The developments and their contibution:
• Lumiere: 1384 kg
• Castlegate: 196 kg
• Beetham Tower: 1144 kg
• Gatehaus: 697 kg

Christmas closure

Braemar Estates will be open as usual over the festive season.  However, the office will be closed for the bank holidays 26th - 27th December and 2nd January.

Braemar Estates awarded Best Managing Agent for a Mixed-Use Block.

Braemar Estates was awarded “Best Managing Agent for a Mixed-Use Block” at the prestigious ‘News on the Block’ Awards 2016/17.
The awards were judged by six leading figures from property regulatory bodies with a contribution from clients and industry colleagues who were able to vote online.
